Our February plant is a perennial herb with alternate toothed leaves and irregular pale blue to white flowers in a spike-like raceme. Individual flowers are stalkless, less than ½” long, and 2-lipped (bilabiate) with a 2-lobed upper and 3-lobed lower lip. Plants can reach 1-3 feet in height and are found in disturbed meadows or fields.
