I found Turk's Cap Lilies (Lilium superbum), Purple Milkwort (Polygala sanguinea) and also some beautiful Meadow Beauty (Rhexia virginica) in flower at Pratt Farm. I also found Spatulate-leaved Sundew (Drosera intermedia).

Nancy Fullerton contacted us about a stand of Dutchman's Pipe [Aristolochia macrophylla (USDA) or Isotrema macrophyllum (gobotany) -- your choice!] growing in Coventry. She took us out to view it. It appears to have escaped from someone's garden and is growing rampantly. While not a native, it is a different looking plant and I thought folks would enjoy seeing it. Dutchman's Pipe is the host plant for the Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly.
If you want more information on the Pipevine Swallowtail check out the follwing link.

While we were out, we also saw Hare Figwort (Scrophularia lanceolata). This plant is on the Rare Plant list and is of state concern.
