The mystery plant for June 2020 is a vine which is more frequently found at sites well south of New England but it also can be found growing in Rhode Island. This vine twines around the tree, upward for 30-40 feet or more. The alternate leaves are large and heart-shaped. The vine flowers in June and are shaped like a pipe used for smoking. The plant produces a cucumber-like fruit.
