What plant is that?
This plant is a low growing perennial of moist, sandy fields. The slender stems grow up to about two feet tall and have opposite, linear leaves.
The pink flowers are arranged in several whorls at the tips of the stems. RI is near the northern limit of its range and it is listed as a rare plant here.
